Jeff began his career in insurance and financial services when he joined Travelers Insurance Company after graduating from the University of Alabama in 1983 with a degree in Marketing. In 1988, he joined a large multi-line agency in Metro Atlanta where he formed the Financial Services Department. After several years of successful growth, he founded his own insurance brokerage agency in 1997. In 2015, he joined VIP Insurance to grow sales of insurance products within Financial Institutions and Broker Dealers throughout the Southeast. He has earned the revered Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and is a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). Jeff holds an Insurance License, as well as General Securities Representative (Series 7), Securities Agent State Law (Series 63) and Investment Advisor Law (Series 65) registrations. Jeff resides in Cumming, Georgia with his wife, Leslie and two sons, Matthew and Michael. He enjoys golf, travel and scuba diving and is an active member of Browns Bridge Church.
Kenneth W. Horn, Sr., LUTCF
Ken has 40 years of life insurance experience as an Agent, Sales Manger, General Manager and Regional Vice President. In his role at VIP, he provides coaching and point-of-sales support to bank financial advisors, independent agents, wealth departments, commercial lenders, CPA’s and attorneys. Ken has been a consistent performer at each stage of his career, earning Presidents Citations and President Club Awards, at Prudential, Manulife and John Hancock. Ken is an avid exercise enthusiast, running, biking and weight lifting. He was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal while in the US Marine Corp for his leadership and relentless pursuit of excellence. He lives in Tinley Park, Illinois with his wife Carol and their three dogs, Tiny, Scoobydoo and Chloe. They have three children and five grandchildren.
Jennifer Stewart, Director of Broker Dealer Sales
Jenny was born and raised in Austin, TX where “keeping it weird” is not just a city slogan but a way of life. In 2009 Jenny joined the VIP team as a sales assistant in the broker dealer division. In 2011 Jenny took over two top broker dealer accounts and became the internal account manager. Her case design, problem solving skills, unparalleled customer service and loyal dedication has earned her several accolades with her current clients. In addition to championing VIPs top accounts year after year Jenny is the Disability Income planning specialist for the entire VIP firm. When Jenny is not in the office she spends most of her time active in multiple Austin charity organizations, boating on beautiful Lake Travis or hanging with her dog Boomer at one of Austin’s many gorgeous parks.

Giovanna Chapa - Concierge Case Manager
Giovanna has over a dozen years of case management experience. She holds a General Insurance license and has multi-dimensional career experience in case management and marketing support in our foreign national market. Because this market requires a customized case management approach, it was natural to extend Giovanna’s role to the higher-end cases of the Concierge Insurance Group. Each day, Giovanna brings this wide-ranging knowledge to her work, offering outstanding service as an intermediary between carriers and agents. As a quick problem solver and conscientious case manager, she strives for excellence and aims to proactively provide each advisor with high-touch case implementation.
Doug Cashman, CLU, FLMI, FALU - Dedicated Concierge Underwriter
Doug Cashman has had twenty years of underwriting and carrier relationship experience in the life insurance industry, which include consulting and directorship positions both within large insurance companies and formidable brokerage firms. He is particularly skilled in the pre-placement analysis of jumbo policies and cases where impaired risks are involved. With increasingly complex insurance cases, Doug’s extensive knowledge of financial and medical underwriting is critical in ensuring that the client receives the best underwriting offer possible. Doug has advanced designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and Fellow, Academy of Life Underwriting (FALU). He also holds an Insurance license, as well as General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66) registrations. When Doug is not busy working, he enjoys camping, water skiing and snowboarding with his wife Stacy and three sons.
